14TH YEAR OF CHINA MACHINERY EXPO OPENS IN SMX MANILA
The country’s longest-running China machinery show will once again highlight the latest machinery and technologies from August 16 to 18, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Now on its 14th year, China Machinery and Electronic Brand Show (Philippines) will feature world-class products and is expected to welcome thousands of trade buyers to the show.
The event is jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce (TDB) in order to create a platform to further enhance business ties between China and Philippines. Trade buyers are welcome to visit the event from 10:00 am to 06:30 pm on August 16 to 18.
The exhibition’s opening ceremony was opened by a lion dance and graced by esteemed personalities including National Security Adviser and Director-General of the National Security Council, General Hermogenes Esperon, Jr.; the First Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Philippines, Mr. Hou Jun; Bureau of Customs Commissioner, Comm. Isidro Lapeña,; CCCME Vice Chairman, Mr. Wang Guiqing; Director of the Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Miao Huawei; Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, Ms. Zhuang Jin; Mr. Xu Mengning from the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province together with the leaders of the related industry associations in the Philippines which includes: Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc., Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Federation of Philippine Industries, Chinese Filipino Business Club, Philippine Constructors Association, Philippine Appliance Industry Association, Philippine Society of Plumbing Engineers Inc., Philippine Welding Society, Society of Philippine Electrotechnical Constructors and Suppliers, Inc., Philippine Parts Maker Association, Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers, Philippine Center for Print Excellence Foundation and the Philippine Plastics Industry Association
